Congratulations to Stephanie & Robert!

Stephanie and Robert’s wedding would be described as a rustic themed wedding where navy and mauve were the color scheme. They held their ceremony on the ballroom balcony for an intimate, outdoor feeling and then moved inside to our North Hall for their reception space.

Stephanie and Robert said their wedding day was an absolute dream come true – as it should be! They reflect on their day with so much joy and happiness that they honestly could not pick a favorite memory from that day! Stephanie said if they had to absolutely choose though, there were two moments that stood out to her that day. She said one memory she will forever hold onto was that her and Robert decided to write their vows. She said they both cried during their vow exchange because it was just so special to them that they personalized their vows. The second stand out memory from that day was when they sat down as husband and wife to eat during the reception, and looked around the room to see all of our favorite people in one place. It is something that after COVID-19 you completely take for granted, and she will forever be thankful they were able to all gather together to celebrate!

This sweet couple were both student-athletes at Columbus State University where they met through a mutual group of friends. She said they use to have card/board game nights quite often as a group and this is when Stephanie recalls falling in love with Robert’s funny, easy going personality! She loved his ability and desire to bring joy to other people and just knew there was something special about him. She knew he was the one after their first “unofficial” date at Carrabbas because she felt like she saw a true glimpse at his heart and that he was definitely going to be the one for her. We wish this beautiful couple a happy marriage and many more years to come together!
