Forever and Always | Kelly + Joseph

 In Wedding

Cheers to the beautiful couple!

Kelly and Joseph felt as if their journey to finding each other felt extremely spiritual. Kelly began praying for Joseph before she had even met him. She prayed for her future husband, whoever that may have been, and that God would provide her with the type of man that she needed instead of wanted. She also prayed that the Lord would mold her into the type of wife that her future husband would need in his life. They both put all of their faith into the Lord when it came to finding “the one” and ended up meeting each other in a barbers shop. After Joseph retired from the Navy he returned to school where he would learn how to run his Barbershop and become a Barber instructor. Kelly on the other hand was working full-time as a Physical Therapist Assistant but eventually let her passion for hair take over and she began attending school again to attain a Mater Cosmetologist License. The two of them met by going to the same school and Kelly said she was a little hesitant to even consider talking to someone she was in school with, but Joseph’s old school values, how he carried himself, and his sense of humor won her over, and they’ve been together ever since!

Every bride and groom have a special part of their memory that they will remember forever. For Kelly and Joseph, it was their first look. Kelly told us that she had been thinking about this moment long before her actual wedding day because she was so excited to see her husband’s reaction. Luckily, their photographer was able to capture it perfectly. These photos are something that they will be able to look at to relive the most intimate moment. Kelly and Joseph’s second favorite moment of their wedding day was their family performing the sand ceremony. They shared that “It was a special time for us to spiritually join together as a family and have a keepsake to remember that moment by.”

When Kelly got engaged she hired a decorator and told her that the theme of the wedding was intimate, classy, and romantic. She also knew that she wanted to incorporate University of Georgia’s colors in whatever way that she could, being that her husband is such a big fan of this SEC team. This decorator exceeded those expectations! The bride and groom were blown away with how intimate and romantic their wedding day felt while still working in some fun UGA decorations and colors.
