My favorite moment from our wedding was of course when I saw my groom for the first time and saw how emotional he was to see me walking down the aisle in my dress. Every bride dreams of what that first look will entail and he was needless to say more than I could have ever wished. The theme of our wedding was developed with a bright, elegant but boho vibe. The original wedding was supposed to be in June and therefore we have summery mustard dresses with vibrant flowers and décor. Being moved to August, we still carried on the theme and incorporated an evening wedding with dim lighting except for the highlighted areas on the bright décor. We had multi-colored glasses as well as vases with illuminating photos of the groom and me. Almost all the décor was handmade and put together by my mom. I met my groom believe it or not online of all places. When I first saw him I said to myself “he is going to break my heart.” Up until then I had been hurt and let down by others, but not this time. I knew he was the one when I started becoming a better version of myself when with him. He made me experience life and all it had to offer. Having someone to share this with made me realize I never wanted to share this with anyone else but him.
