The Grass is Greener with you! // Tracey & Blake

 In Wedding

Cheers to Tracey and Blake Green on a magical night!

Tracey and Blake have such a beautiful love story! They started kindergarten at Double Churches Elementary and grew up together. They shared a classroom and friends and in 11th grade began dating and dated through their first 2 years of college. When asking Tracey about their unique story she said, “Blake was my first love in high school, but also the first boy who broke my heart.” Once they broke up in college they went their separate ways for 14 years but now, the rest is history.

“We both knew that God’s hand was covering us both and placing one another in our lives for a second time for the most perfect reason. Getting to marry my true first love is a dream come true. Blake got down on one knee as he proposed at the gazebo at our elementary school where it all began!”

This wedding was the definition of pure Southern elegance. The bride and groom were married in our Center Hall with a small, but intimate guest list. The couple outsourced their chairs from Outdoor Events and the aisle was lined with candles at every row where the bride walked down to her groom at a beautiful wooden arch with lights strung above. In our North Hall, the string lights were dropped, and the tables were covered with white linens and decorated with candles, white flowers, and greenery centerpieces.

“My favorite moment was walking down the aisle with my dad by my side and seeing Blake at the end of the aisle. The look that he had on his face is one I will never forget! To pass every aisle with our closest loved ones smiling and crying with joy is something that was so special. To have so much love and support truly made me realize how much Blake and I have to be thankful for. To be surrounded by our absolute most favorite people that love us and pray for us is truly such a blessing and to have that hit so close to home as I walked down that aisle to my husband could not have been any more perfect!”

Tracey and Blake, we wish you a lifetime of happiness and we are so happy we were able to be a part of your special day!
